A very apt situation I find myself in, I’m currently in a railway arch in Hackney, its called The Experiment, a collaboration between Pressure Drop and Verdant, it’s also the first time I’ve attempted a live blog on my phone, a bit of an experiment you see, so it will be short and sweet. Well it’s a railway arch ,not too much you can say about that apart from it’s got all the standard bench seating, a bar and toilets.
There are ten keg taps divided equally between Verdant and Pressure Drop brews.
You may not be able to read the boards in the photo but you’ve probably not heard of most of the beers anyway. For the record I’m drinking Pressure Drop Pale Fire, 4.8% of Peach, Mango and Citrus tastes.
So that’s alright with me.
The ambiance in a railway arch may not be everything but the beer’s good and as I write, the music playing is Revolution Blues by Neil Young followed by Gloria by Them, not bad at all.
